GIS Lab

The Geographic Information System occupy the essential role in the Nation development, environmental changes detection and management, natural disaster prediction, etc. More than 100 earth observing satellites are applied for collecting images of the Earth's surface. Remote sensing satellite systems for land cover assessment are operated by the developed countries.

We intend to establish the Geographic Information System database of Myanmar land and sharing the information with other nations. A system that ties multiple facets into an easy to use application that allows all users to access the data they want and need from a central location.
