   Subjects for academic terms, Exam results, Holding Convocations, Conferences organized by UCSY and students activities, such as seminars, project competitions, debate, sports activities, growing plants, religious activities, holding MCPA Day jointly with MCPA, blood donations and other group donations are shown at UCSY website. Information for these activities is updated on the website and some faculties from the research department try to make the website updated. Creating website, maintaining server and solving difficulties are done by the faculties themselves without the help of other organizations. To improve the skills and knowledge and to catch up with the technology and to ensure the quality of education, trainings for new technology are given to the faculties also by international technological organizations. UCSY continued to improve the graduate programs and also researches on Natural Language Processing, Mobile and Wireless Computing, Cloud Computing and many other areas. Under the department of Research and Development, Natural Language Processing Lab, Mobile and Wireless Computing Lab and Cloud Computing Lab are doing researches with partner universities. Researches currently doing can be viewed at www.nlpresearch-ucsy.edu.mm and tested on that website. There are also joint workshops at the conferences with other universities and organizations such as Waseda University, Japan and MCPA, therefore the research fellows and students can also take part in them. All of these are motivations for the students into new technology and researches. The name of UCSY is known and this makes to get acknowledges from International organizations.

The IQC International Quality Crown Award acknowledges the strong commitment to quality and excellence based on one or several of the following concepts: The QC100 principles, Customer's satisfaction, Leadership, Technology, Best Practice, Business Results, ISO9000 and TQM. The International Quality Crown Award (IQC) by Business initiative direction (B.l.D) is presented in recognition of those companies or organizations in different countries throughout the world that further their reputation and position by implementing and promoting quality culture.

Other Awards

1. UCSY took part in MCPA project competition 2011 by Online-library system project and the project won Special Mention Award of Business Application 2010.

2. ICT business plan contest 2011 was held by Myanmar Computer Professionals Association in October in collaboration with Cambodia International Education Support Foundation of Japan (CIESF). The contest title was divided into three mobile-related categories: medicine, education and social networks. In this competition, Ms. Nandar Pwint Oo, PhD candidates, 7th Batch from University of Computer Studies, Yangon got the first prize in ICT Business Plan Contest for year 2011 with the title of "Market5" and won USD 3,000. Market5 was competed in the sub category of mobile social networks. The mission of Market5 was aimed to develop innovative customer centered mobile marketplace in Myanmar.

3. 8 second year students also achieved MCPA excellent awards in 2011.
