Admission Requirements for Graduate Program
The bachelor degree programme is a basic and challenging undergraduate programme with area specialisations. It encompasses the basic IT technology, both applied and fundamental. The programme also provides advanced and in-depth knowledge of IT to prepare the students for challengens in IT career. The programme is full-time courses.
Admission Criteria
Candidates must pass the matriculation exam held by government and must possess the total exam marks not less than the mark specified by the University. For honour degree, candidates must finished the bachelor degree with qualified to continue the honours degree.
Programme Structure for Bachelor Degrees (B.C.Sc./B.C.Tech.)
Students have to take four years course work for bachelor degree. Students are required to pass all modules in mid term and final term examination for course work. After three years of course work, students who qualified in final term (third year) can join to honour degree otherwise they will achieve only bachelor degree in computer science or computer technology. Students are required to fulfill roll call percentage up 75% for every course work year. Students whose rollcall percentage not less than 75% are allowed to sit for the final exam otherwise there is no optional to sit for the exam.
Duration of Programme
The bachelor programme is full-time. Three years of course work and can resume to honours programme for one year of course work if candidate is qualified to continue the honours degree. Totally this programme takes three years to complete a normal bachelor degree and four years to complete a honours degree.
Graduation Requirement
Candidates must achieve a successful completion of their course work and they will be graduated for bachelor degree or honours degree.
